You told me you needed proof in video, and here you go, and after watching this and seeing that matchlocks can kill enemy units after shooting thou 1,2,3,4 units of your own troops in close formation and then if you can tell me that is ok... well then there isn't anything else i can do. And since these where Ashigaru units make this ever worse.
And the argument about them shooting at cav unit isn't going to work, because if they can shoot over 300 man at cav 100 m away, then all shots should have hit cav and no FF made, but as you can see in the video FF was made so that argument is a bust.
