Shogun 2 Live Commentary: Why U No Protect General?

Money hack sold by 7Samourai could destroy the integrity of Shogun 2.

It isn't often that ethics play a pivotal role in online gaming. The train of thought I subscribe to allows the community flourish on its own. We all have our opinions on how the game is supposed to be played and under what circumstances. More than most games, In Shogun 2 we see players taking hold to the ideology of honor as if they were a 16Th century Samurai. This is something that I find not only amusing but interesting as it represents a series of checks and balances within the culture of Total War. Ethics and honor correlate quite closely. The Total War community is not the largest, but a passion like no other is represented. I would like to address an issue that was brought up to me earlier today:
Shogun 2 (As well as Nearly all TW Games) have had their share of several problems in the past. Exploits and broken strategy have whittled the integrity of Shogun since its launch. We have over come as a community on more than one occasion with continual high powered tournaments and enormous passion for the Shogun 2 (As witnessed by our large live casting and youtube community.)

"Laissez-faire" politics would be a way to explain the extreme circumstances of this exploit (For any of you who have kept track of Occupy Wall Street lately you understand how important regulation can be). The rogue Shogun 2 clan 7Samourai have taken it upon themselves to undermine and devalue our $60 Dollar games. The easiest way for me to explain the consequences are this:

"Player A has the money hack. Player B does not. When Player A plays Player B the value of Player B's experience and enjoyment of Shogun 2 50% less than Player A"

I realize this maybe a ridiculous way of explaining the problem but, the point I want to get across is that the overall value of our Shogun 2: Total War is diminishing fast. Awareness needs to be created and addressed to  the entire community and CA. We do not live in the wild west and we shouldn't be taken advantage of. Bugs in Shogun 2 exist and there are plenty but the 7SAM route is detrimental to all of us. Profiting on the diminishing quality of the Shogun 2 majority is especially shameful and severely detrimental. Although the ladder has been broken for sometime it is a nice way to find random people to test your skill on. To have that option completely crippled would place us all at a huge loss.

Once again I mention ethics and the lack there of. I mean this to be a warning to to 7SAM or anyone else attempting to exploit me or my community, submit the money hack bug report and cancel all sales. I am making it my personal mission to to put an end to this kind of deregulated wild west bullshit.
